BROWSER-BASED TRANSLATION

What is Any Voice?

Any Voice is a real-time subtitle translator for audio playing in a browser tab. Choose the spoken language and the language you want to read, share one tab's audio, and follow translated dialogue as it happens.

Unlike an uploaded-video workflow, Any Voice works while content is playing. Unlike a browser extension, it runs from a website. The result can stay in the page or move into a compact subtitle window that remains above other windows when your browser supports it.

HOW IT WORKS

From spoken audio to readable translation in three steps.

Any Voice processes only the tab you explicitly choose. You stay in control of when audio sharing starts, pauses, and stops.

  1. 1

    Open the audio

Play an anime episode, drama, interview, or live stream in desktop Chrome or Edge.

  2. 2

    Share one tab

Choose the source and subtitle languages, then select the tab and enable tab audio.

  3. 3

    Read along

Start translation and, when supported, pop the subtitles into a movable always-on-top window.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Audio is processed in real time
and not stored by default.

Any Voice does not persist your raw tab audio, subtitle text, page title, URL, or video name by default. Audio is sent to a cloud translation provider during the active session so the translated text can be returned.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What to know before your first translation.

What is Any Voice?

Any Voice is a browser-based real-time subtitle translator. It listens only to the desktop browser tab you choose, turns spoken audio into translated text, and displays the result on the page or in a movable subtitle window.

Do I need to install an extension or upload a video?

No. Any Voice runs as a web app, so there is no browser extension or desktop client to install. You share the audio from a tab while it plays; you do not upload the complete video or hunt for a subtitle file.

Which browsers work with Any Voice?

Use a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge. Any Voice depends on browser-tab audio sharing, and its always-on-top subtitle mode uses browser capabilities that may not be available in other browsers or on mobile devices.

Which languages are supported?

Any Voice currently includes 60 source and target language codes, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, and Hindi. Availability and quality can vary by language direction and source audio.

Does Any Voice store my audio or subtitle text?

Raw tab audio and subtitle text are processed during the live session and are not persisted by Any Voice by default. Account, payment, credit, security, and privacy-safe operational records are retained as described in the privacy policy.

How accurate are the translated subtitles?

Any Voice uses automated speech recognition and machine translation, so errors, omissions, and delays can occur. Clear speech and clean audio help. Use it to follow the meaning of everyday content, not for emergency, legal, medical, or other high-stakes decisions.
